Maximum visibility. Active deterrence.
Some sites are simply bigger targets: acres of inventory, long fence lines, expensive machines, remote corners nobody can see from the gate. The SiteFortress PTZ Pro is built for those sites — a premium stabilized surveillance trailer carrying a high-performance PTZ camera and four fixed cameras at roughly 20 feet.
The fixed cameras keep continuous quadrant coverage, so detection and recording never blink. When the edge AI flags a person or vehicle, the PTZ becomes your incident-inspection tool: zoom in, follow the activity where tracking is supported, and capture the detail that makes footage usable as evidence.
Deterrence that talks back
The PTZ Pro carries the loudest deterrence stack in the fleet: an external horn with talk-down capability, siren, and strobe. With the 24/7 live monitoring add-on, a verified event can escalate to a live voice-down — a person on your site hearing, by name of the company, that they are being watched and recorded. Most walk away at that point.
Like every SiteFortress unit it is fully autonomous: larger solar array, larger LiFePO4 reserve, local edge processing, high-capacity local storage, LTE (or Starlink), GPS, tamper detection, and self-healing device management with remote diagnostics and automated recovery. Deployment & setup is $699 one-time — waived with a 6-month agreement.
SiteFortress PTZ Pro — common questions
What makes the PTZ Pro different from the SiteFortress 360?
Two things: the camera package and the deterrence stack. The PTZ Pro adds a high-performance pan-tilt-zoom camera on top of 4 fixed cameras — the fixed cameras never stop covering their quadrants while the PTZ zooms in on activity, reads details at distance, and tracks movement where technically supported. It also carries a larger solar array, bigger battery reserve, an external horn/talk-down speaker and remote-intervention capability. $1,695/month vs $995 for the 360.
Does the PTZ camera replace the fixed cameras?
No — that is the design point. A PTZ alone can be looking the wrong way when something happens. On the PTZ Pro, the 4 fixed cameras maintain continuous quadrant coverage for detection and recording, and the PTZ is the inspection tool: zoom, tracking, and incident detail.
What sites justify the PTZ Pro?
Large jobsites, major commercial construction, dealerships, industrial and logistics yards, high-value material storage and remote infrastructure — anywhere sight distances are long, the asset value is high, or an incident needs zoomed evidence quality. For a typical small or mid-size site, the SiteFortress 360 usually covers it at $995/mo.
Can it read license plates?
The PTZ can capture vehicle detail opportunistically, but dedicated plate capture is its own discipline: the LPR add-on (+$199/mo) mounts a purpose-specific lower camera at your entrance for reliable, searchable plate events with timestamps and entry/exit history. Pair LPR with the PTZ Pro for gated yards and dealerships.
