This is a passive listening capability built on the FAA Remote ID ecosystem: drones that broadcast compliant Remote ID may be detected and logged by supported RF receivers on your unit. We do not claim detection of every drone, and we do not offer — and will not discuss — jamming, interception, takeover or disabling of any aircraft.
What you get is context: when your fence-line camera catches someone at the gate at 1 AM and the log shows a drone overflight twenty minutes earlier, your incident report tells a much more complete story.

What is passive Remote ID drone awareness?
Most drones sold today broadcast an FAA Remote ID signal. The drone awareness add-on uses supported RF receivers to passively listen for compliant Remote ID broadcasts near your site and log them: detection time, Remote ID details when available, and approximate position data when broadcast. It is an awareness and logging capability — +$99/month.
Can it detect every drone?
No, and we won’t claim otherwise. Detection depends on the drone actually broadcasting a compliant Remote ID signal and on RF conditions. Non-broadcasting or non-compliant aircraft may not be detected. What it gives you is a factual record of compliant drone activity around your site.
Can you jam, intercept or take over a drone?
No. Interfering with aircraft — including jamming, takeover or disabling drones — is illegal, and SiteFortress360 does not offer it. This add-on is passive listening and logging only.
Who actually needs drone awareness?
Sites with airspace sensitivity or repeat drone activity: large construction projects concerned with progress espionage or scoping flights, logistics and industrial facilities, and high-value yards that want drone activity in the security record alongside camera events.
