How monitored response works
Every SiteFortress360 unit already detects people and vehicles with on-board AI and pushes real-time alerts. The monitoring add-on puts a human-verification workflow behind those detections:
- AI detects a person or vehicle inside an armed zone.
- The event is verified — real activity is separated from headlights, animals and weather.
- Your escalation plan runs — voice-down intervention where configured, customer notification, escalation and dispatch procedures according to your monitoring package.
Escalation plans are written per site at onboarding: who gets called, in what order, what the talk-down script says, and what counts as an emergency. Higher monitoring tiers with faster verification targets and richer response options can be quoted per site.

Yes — 24/7 live monitoring is available from +$499/month on any SiteFortress360 system. On-board AI detects an event, a monitoring workflow can verify the activity, and depending on your monitoring package and escalation plan the response can include voice-down intervention over the unit’s speaker, customer notification, escalation, and dispatch procedures defined in your plan.
Will police be dispatched automatically?
We do not claim automatic police dispatch. Your escalation plan defines exactly what happens after an event is verified — who is called, in what order, and what is reported. Verified-event reporting to authorities depends on your plan and local jurisdiction procedures.
What is the difference between AI alerts and live monitoring?
AI alerts (included on every unit) notify you directly when a person or vehicle enters a zone — you decide what to do. Live monitoring puts a verification workflow between detection and response: activity is checked, false alarms are filtered, and real events follow your escalation plan even at 3 AM when your phone is on silent.
What is voice-down intervention?
Where a unit is configured with a talk-down speaker (SiteFortress 360 and PTZ Pro), a verified intrusion can trigger live or scripted audio addressed to the person on your site. Being told you are on camera, recorded, and that action is being taken is one of the most effective deterrents available.
